Are you ready to reduce your exposure to toxic chemicals in your home?
My love for Norwex started almost four years ago with the desire to find a more environmentally friendly laundry detergent and to eliminate dryer sheets. Both problems were easily and effectively solved. A one-time investment in dryer balls eliminated the need for dryer sheets, and 1 tsp/load of laundry detergent gave me clean clothes at about $0.20 per load.
As I was thinking about this win/win and my desire to continue to reduce my exposure to chemicals and help the planet, I started to consider what other products I use that solve other problems. There are many, but here are my top five products that help me either reduce my exposure to toxic chemicals and/or reduce my impact to the environment. Could they become your favorites as well?
BioZyme
Mix just 2-ounces of this in the Forever Spray Bottle with water. It can be used for many things in your kitchen. Wash dishes (it is great at removing coffee and tea stains), counters, sinks, microwave, stovetops, etc. This plant- and enzyme-based concentrate treats your hands and the environment with care and does a great job!
Produce Wash
Make your food safer to eat. This fruit and vegetable cleaner naturally cleans using a plant-based formula with biodegradable ingredients to remove any unwanted chemical residue from fertilizers, pesticides, dirt and bacteria. It also helps to extend the life of your produce. Simply spray or soak.
Bathroom Cleaner and Brush
You can replace multiple cleaners with one cleaner for your porcelain, tubs, tile and floors. This all-purpose bathroom cleaner provides a deep clean without any strong fumes or corrosive ingredients – leaving your bathroom cleaner, safer and better. Not only does it clean without using any harmful chemicals, but it also descales and eliminates sources of odors. The Ergonomic Brush easily gets under the rim.
Skin Care
A full skin care line that is easy to use and formulated with plant-based ingredients including Nordic antioxidants. It hydrates and supports the skins natural moisture barrier. The probiotics support the skin’s unique microbiome. Bottles are refillable, so less plastic into the landfill. That’s definitely a plus!
The Mop System
Just like the microfiber cloths, you can clean your floors with water alone. Yep!!! Just water. The mop system is so easy to use, functional, and could be the best mop you ever owned. I know it’s mine! Nothing to throw away, just rinse out the pads or throw them in the washer. AND… there are several attachments available that makes it versatile for other purposes. I love the Rubber Broom for cleaning up outside.
