Before I learned about Norwex, the idea of cleaning my home without some kind of liquid cleaner was very foreign. Under my kitchen cabinet and in my bathroom were numerous bottles of window cleaner, floor cleaner, bathroom cleaners, and more. I thought they were a required part of life. Little did I know the dangers these bottles presented.
In 2020 while we were all stuck at home, a friend invited me to a Norwex event via Zoom. I learned about the microfiber and what it can do. This led to a complete change of perspective when it comes to chemicals inside and outside my home. I eliminate them whenever possible. But it all began with understanding The Basic Package.
The Basic Package includes Norwex’s flagship products: the EnviroCloth® and the Window Cloth. At a glance they are two quality microfiber products, but it’s what you can’t see that makes these cloths special allowing them to clean mechanically vs. chemically, with water alone.
The individual fibers are 1/200th of a human hair. It is the fineness and density of these fibers that make the cloth capable of removing 99% of bacteria from a surface using water alone following proper care and use instructions. In addition, woven into the fibers, is a silver-based technology called BacLock® that inhibits microbial growth, which protects the cloth by inhibiting odor in the cloth, which means it’s ready to use again and again.
